First Egg of 2019!
Posted Mar. 15, 2019
On March 15, 2019, the female hawk laid the first egg in the 2019 nesting season.
At 3:40 PM, it was reported that the female hawk started sitting on the nest. Five minutes later, when she got up from sitting, an egg was spotted in the nest bowl.
Since then, she has spent the whole day on the nest, incubating the egg and sometimes getting up to pick at the inside of the nest bowl.
